Chris Hope Wins Community Choice “Person of the Year” Three Years Running!

Memphis showed up once again, and this time, it made history.

For the third consecutive year, Chris Hope, founder of the Chris Hope Foundation (CHF), was named Community Choice Memphis Most Person of the Year during the 2025 Memphis Most Awards. The honor recognizes the people who make the Bluff City brighter, stronger, and more compassionate, and Hope continues to embody all of that and more.

While CHF didn’t clinch “Best Nonprofit” this year, the night was still a huge win for the organization as Chris’ name echoed across the room for one of the event’s biggest awards. And in true fashion, he immediately redirected the spotlight.

“Receiving this award for the third time is truly humbling. But this isn’t just about me. This recognition belongs to every volunteer, donor, supporter, and partner who believes in the mission of the Chris Hope Foundation. CHF is still winning every single day through the families we help and the hope we bring.”

A Decade of Hope, Heart, and Impact

For 10 years, the Chris Hope Foundation has stood beside families facing the unimaginable challenges of childhood illness. Their support includes:

  • Emergency financial assistance
  • Housing support
  • Hospital meals and resources
  • Therapeutic arts programs
  • Scholarships
  • Emotional support for kids and caregivers

What started as a local Memphis mission has grown into a multi-state effort, now partnering with children’s hospitals across the country.

“Chris Hope’s commitment to service embodies the best of Memphis. His work continues to touch countless lives, and the community continues to recognize that impact.”

Looking Ahead to Year 10 and Beyond

As CHF moves into its 10th anniversary year, the organization is preparing for even bigger expansion, deeper partnerships, and continued service to families who need it most. Memphis continues to stand right beside them.

Thank You, Memphis

The Chris Hope Foundation closed the night with gratitude, thanking the volunteers, donors, families, and supporters who keep the mission alive.
