Every year, The Memphis Flyer picks 20 people under 30 years old that are doing something significant in Memphis. They’re featured on the cover as well as a profile about each of them. Congrats to this year’s picks!
We want to send out a special congratulations to our very own Breezy Lucia who has been nominated to be a part of this year’s picks. She spends her time with us taking amazing pictures, filming and editing for our Choose901 videos, and generally thinking outside the box. That’s on top of a full schedule working with film crews in and around Memphis putting the next blockbuster together. Way to go Breezy!
Some of our friends were also picked this year, one of them being Brit McDaniel of Paper & Clay. She’s an amazing ceramicist making waves nationally for her consistently beautiful functional pieces. See her in action!
Another is Briana Brown of New Ballet. Last year she traveled to Washington D.C. to accept an award from Michelle Obama on behalf of New Ballet.
Taylor James of Madison Growler and Cash Saver was also picked. We’ve been a fan of his for awhile now for his role in growing the Memphis Beer scene, something we all appreciate. Cheers!
Everyone is invited to the party tonight honoring all 20 of these Memphians at High Cotton’s taproom, 6-8pm. While we’re at it, check out how great High Cotton is.
