Celtic Crossing, located in the heart of Cooper Young, is preparing to celebrate their 10th anniversary by throwing a 3 day long party. After surveying their patrons and coming up with some really great and new ideas, they will be closing their doors on June the 22nd to undergo renovations, all to lead up to their grand reopening as the smoke-free, newly designed, coolest place on the block!
There will be an updated interior and specifically designated smoking areas to keep the inside smoke-free. After surveying their customers, 95% agreed that a smoke-free interior was defintely the way to go. Smoking will still be permitted on the patio and exterior seating. While staying committed to the Irish style and atmosphere, the interior additions will include new custom-made and handcrafted Irish furniture and new, fun wall decor. The pub will also be welcoming fresh paint jobs and extended interior seating.
Irishman DJ Naylor’s traditional family recipes inspired the birth of Celtic Crossing in 2005, and since has provided the true spirit of a traditional Irish pub in an easy and relaxed environment for all to enjoy. These renovations and limiting smoking regulations are to help encourage a more family friendly environment during the afternoon and early evening. Celtic Crossing has a wonderful menu and an energetic atmosphere that all families will be able to enjoy! Celtic’s nightlife will continue to thrive in Midtown as it always has.
To kick off the Anniversary weekend, Star and Micey will be playing a special concert on Friday night followed by DJ Tree. The party will continue throughout the weekend, offering food and drink specials, giveaways, live music, and more.
