#CelebrateYourCity with New Memphis at Exposure

901 Day, the unofficial holiday observed on September 1st to celebrate all that is good in Memphis, is just around the corner. And what better way to honor Memphis than finding a way to get involved at Exposure.

New Memphis hosts Exposure each year to invite all Memphians to “turn their love of the city into action.” Interact with more than 100 organizations and businesses, and find ways to engage whether it’s through service projects, or the arts or various community groups that are doing the work to care for and enrich our city.

This year, Exposure is set for Thursday, August 30th from 6 – 8pm at AutoZone Park.

Choose901 will be there along with organizations like Literacy Mid-South, The Wolf River Conservancy, Explore Bike Share, Memphis Roller Derby, Latino Memphis, Memphis Botanic Gardens, MIFA, Stax Museum of American Soul, and lots more.

Of course, there will be food and brews to enjoy while you watch the annual Local Celebrity Kickball Game.  The roster of celebrity kickball players this year includes Al Kapone, Marcella Simien, Mark Goodfellow, Geoff Calkins, Ursula Madden, Chelsea Chandler, Eric Hasseltine, Cynthia Daniels, Kacky Walton, Ryan Poe, Danni Bruns, Kelly English, and others to be announced soon.

There will also be appearances by the Grizz Drumline, The Claw Crew, the Beale Street Flippers, and Opera Memphis. Exposure is free to attend and open to all ages. Just RSVP at exposurememphis.com.
