Celebrate the Memphis Mommas on Mother’s Day!

You don’t necessarily have to give birth to be a mom. You don’t even have to be a mom to be a mom. If you exhibit unparalleled patience, offer unwavering love and care, and hugs— lots of hugs —when needed, you might be a mom.

Whoever you call “ma” has put in a lot of work to receive that distinction, and we hope you give them their props year-round. But since Mother’s Day (May 9th) is THE designated day to show your love, here are some ways to do it well!

Crosstown Concourse presents a Pre-Mother’s Day Pop-Up Shop and Jazz Music

Mother’s Day Paint & Sip Pop-Up presented by Lash Kulture

• Saturday, May 8th, 2021 (3PM-6PM)
  • Lash Kulture is hosting their 1st Annual Mothers Day Paint & Sip Pop-up Shop inside of the Oakcourt Mall, on the first floor inside Dillard’s. This event will feature a number of small business vendors that offer everything from clothing, candles, accessories, custom items made on site, homemade soaps, treats, and so much more! There will also be free giveaways, music, karaoke, and a paint & sip  hosted by Any Dae Creations.

Mother’s Day at the Garden presented by Memphis Botanic Garden

  • Celebrate Mother’s Day at the Garden! Enjoy a safe and fun outdoor picnic as the Garden comes alive this spring. The smooth sounds of Kenneth Jackson will delight as mom enjoys libations from the cash bar and a pre-ordered picnic lunch. There will be tables set up throughout the Garden or you can bring a blanket to pick your perfect setting. Pre-order your brunch from Fuel or Fratelli’s by May 4 or bring your own outside food.
