BrewRuck’s Back

Memphis Ruck Club invites you to ruck with purpose and beer during the second annual BrewRuck901 on Saturday, April 27th.

The event combines fitness, a brewery crawl, and collecting donations Alpha Omega Veterans Services.

First things first: What is rucking? To ruck is to carry a weighted pack on your back during a trek. It’s a foundation of Special Forces training that increases strength and endurance.

Here’s an example of a BrewRuck:

BrewRuck901 participants will ruck from one local brewery to another carrying weight plates in their rucksacks. The journey will start at Crosstown Brewing Company at noon. Ruckers will then travel an 8.8-mile route together visiting High Cotton Brewing and Memphis Made, then ending back at Crosstown around 6 pm. Not only do get to spend an afternoon pouring good back into the city, making friends, and boosting your health, but you also have a chance to walk away with some cool prizes from a raffle.

A registration fee of $10 and a donation item are required in order to participate. Sign up here.
