Big K.R.I.T. and Kingfish coming to Overton Park Shell

SHELL YEAH, Memphis!

The Overton Park Shell just dropped some major news for the 2025 Shell Yeah! Benefit Series, and it’s as Southern, soulful, and Memphis as it gets. Two powerhouse performers are confirmed to hit the historic stage this fall: Big K.R.I.T. on September 18 and Christone “Kingfish” Ingram on October 10, bringing Southern hip-hop swagger and Grammy-winning blues brilliance to the 901.

And here’s the best part: Every ticket sold fuels the Shell’s mission to keep live music free for the community year-round.

Why Does the Shell Matter?

The Overton Park Shell is a living, breathing piece of Memphis history. Built in 1936 by the Works Progress Administration, it’s one of the last active Depression-era bandshells still standing in the country.

Through free shows, cultural programming, and educational events, the Shell brings together a diverse cross-section of Memphis, united by the universal language of music.

And thanks to the Shell Yeah! Benefit Series, that mission keeps thriving.
