Feast For Friends Family Reunion
Monday, July 14 | 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
There’s nothing quite like gathering around the table with people who feel like family. Set the scene for a joyful evening by volunteering at Feast for Friends’ Family Reunion Night. You’ll help prepare and serve a delicious sit-down meal while creating a warm and welcoming environment for guests.
Summer Heat Survey: Drive-Through Data Collection
Saturday, July 19 | 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Volunteers are needed to help The Works drive or navigate pre-set routes to gather real-time temperature and humidity data that will inform future heat relief strategies for Memphis and surrounding areas. With shifts in the early morning, mid-afternoon, and evening, you’ll avoid peak sun exposure while contributing to something truly impactful. Bonus: complete all three shifts and a short training, and you’ll earn a gift card as a thank-you!
Big Star Quintet at GPAC
Saturday, July 19 | Multiple Shifts Available
Germantown Performing Arts Center (GPAC) is hosting the Big Star Quintet – a band packed with talent from legendary groups – for an unforgettable night of Memphis music history. Volunteers are needed to usher, scan tickets, greet guests, and assist with logistics.
Spay/Neuter Clinic Volunteer at Spay Memphis
Tuesdays through Fridays in July | Morning and Afternoon Shifts Available
If you prefer a quieter, behind-the-scenes role, Spay Memphis has the perfect opportunity. Volunteers help keep the clinic running smoothly by tackling essential tasks like laundry, cleaning surgical instruments, and prepping supplies. While you won’t be interacting with animals directly, your support ensures every patient is treated in a clean, well-organized space.
