  • Whole Foods Cooking Classes

If you’re wanting to sharpen your master chef skills or just have a fun night out with a spouse or friends, Whole Foods Market offers an array of different class options through their Salud Cooking School. From learning to concoct the perfect salad to preparing asian and italian cuisines, people of all ages can enjoy gaining a new set of culinary skills.

  • New Ballet Ensemble School

From showing off your hip-hop dance groove to learning the ballet basics, New Ballet Ensemble School is prepared to leave you with a new set of dance skills. Classes are open to both youth and adults who are interested in expanding their knowledge of the multiple genres of dance.

  • Cost: $135 for 10 class card//$15 for single drop-in class.


  • Five in One Social Club

Who says that arts and crafts are only for kids? Otherwise known as kindergarten for adults, Five in One Social Club is a clubhouse for crafters. Every Saturday and Monday, they host different activities such as felt monster stitching, candle making, coffee brewing and many more. Not only can you create your own crafts, but you can also purchase local hand-made goods that are showcased in the store.

  • Pinot’s Palette & Painting with a Twist

So you’re saying I can create a beautiful piece of art, hone in on my painting skills, AND drink wine while doing so? Sounds like a win-win situation! Bring your own bottle of wine and a group of fun people and they will take care of the rest. Enjoy step-by-step guidance from a local artist to create a masterpiece that you get to leave with!

  • Rumba Room

Eat, drink, & shake them hips! The Rumba Room is the first salsa nightclub located downtown with a mission to bring latin culture to Memphis. They feature dance lessons, dance competitions, live salsa bands, concerts and more.

  • P&H Open Mic Music and Comedy Nights
