- Earth Day at Shelby Farms
- Earth Day 5K, 4/17 @ 12pm – 4pm: Explore the nature trails of Shelby Farms Park on this woodsy course. All participants are invited to plant trees in a post-race planting ceremony or to take a sapling home to plant in their own neighborhood. Register here.
- Earth Day Family Camp Out, 4/22-23 @ 6pm – 11am: BYOT (bring your own tent), and experience Shelby Farms Park like never before at this camp out, featuring a guided nature hike, sustainable arts and crafts, earth science activities, entertainment, breakfast with the buffalo, and more. The cost (covering breakfast and snacks) is $10 per park member and $15 per nonmember. Register by 4/18 here.

- Garden Tram Tour at Memphis Botanic Garden – Bring your friends and family and hop on the tram or casually stroll through the beauty of the Garden on Earth Day. The garden will be open from 9am – 6pm.
- 30 Days Straight Clean Memphis – Memphis Clean is striving to de-litter Memphis yet again for 30 days straight, bringing together businesses, neighborhoods, non-profits, and community centers to help enforce 22+ large-scale cleanup projects. There will also be four environmental education fairs, service learning projects for 12 area schools, park projects, garden paintings, and more.
- Citywide cleanup – Grab some friends and a few trash bags, and help pick up trash along the river, in your neighborhood, or anywhere you can to keep our water wildlife happy and to keep Memphis beautiful.
- Green Up & Glow Party – Join South End on Earth Day as they clean up downtown, then wind down at the Underpass Lighting Party.
- South End Clean Up @4pm – 6pm, meet at Loflin Yard
- Underpass Lighting Party @6pm – 8pm at Loflin Yard
