St. Patty’s Day celebrations start this weekend! Memphis provides everything we all want or need for this green holiday. Whether you want to celebrate the Luck of the Irish through nature, live music, green beer, or parades, Memphis has you covered.

This comes as no surprise that Silky’s is throwing a huge shindig to celebrate the Irish. The parties start at 5 pm Thursday for a caravan. Friday, there will be a raising of the goat in front of Silky’s at 5 pm. Saturday consists of the 41st Annual “Silky Sullivan” St. Patrick’s Day Parade, which starts at 2 pm on Beale. Monday the parties continue!

Kick off the St. Patrick’s Day weekend with their annual four course beer dinner featuring Yazoo Brewing Company. There will be bands playing and brunches throughout the weekend. The patio bar and party tent will be in full swing on March 17th. And of course, the Irish dancers will be there!

Join the Memphis Hightailers for their first official bike ride of the year. This St. Patrick’s Day kickoff will give you a chance to stay fit through a weekend filled with green goodies and green beer. Make sure you register beforehand.

This shamrock mingle is a day full of green beads, green beer, food, and live music. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Clean Memphis. Don’t forget to purchase your tickets for this beforehand.

Elmwood Cemetery has taken the best of both worlds, past and present, to honor the Irish this year! What better way to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day than to visit the Scots-Irish who rest at Elmwood? Along the tour you’ll encounter 3 beer tasting stations. Sample and declare your favorite! Register online.

Don’t miss the drink specials at Kooky Canuck this Sunday and Monday. (You have to kick off the St. Patty’s Day celebrations with a $5 car bomb.)

Newby’s will have an awesome rock-and-roll cover band playing, Rage Against the Stone Age. They will also have drink and food specials all day and night.

Nothing is better than an authentic Irish pub in the heart of downtown Memphis. The Brass Door will be celebrating all day with drinks specials, live bands, DJs and giving away a Fat Tire Bike.

For St. Patty’s Day, Patrick’s is definitely living up to the name. Its celebrations will kick off with bands and drink specials! Patrick’s will also have a delectable St. Patrick’s Day menu featuring Irish classics like Fish ‘N’ Chips , Corned Beef and Cabbage, and Irish Quiche.

Breakaway Running is hosting their annual St. Patrick’s Day Pub Run Monday! Kick off is set for 6 pm at their Midtown location. This is literally a pub run, so stay up-to-date with their Facebook to know when the bar stops will be announced!
